En kvinna vaknade under natten till söndagen av ett en misstänkt inbrottstjuv låste upp hennes ytterdörr. Kvinnan lyckades jaga ut mannen. En granne misstänks ligga bakom brottet.
Det var vid 03.30-tiden under söndagsnatten som en kvinna i 35-årsåldern i Högsbo plötsligt vaknade av någon låste upp hennes ytterdörr. Troligtvis med en nyckel som kvinna hade tappat bort.
– Hon hörde mannen som rörde sig i lägenheten, skrek och lyckades att jaga ut honom ur bostaden, säger August Brandt, presstalesperson hos polisen region Väst.
Kvinnan larmade polisen och det blev en stor polisinsats i området.
Efter förhör med kvinnan och flera utredningsåtgärder på platsen riktades misstankarna mot kvinnans granne, en man i 45-årsåldern.
– Mannen greps efter att polisen hittat hennes nyckel i hans ägo, säger August Brandt.
Mannen är nu misstänks för flera brott.
Polisanmälan är upprättad gällande inbrottsstöld, hemfridsbrott samt egenmäktigt förfarande.
